Job Description

Job Summary:

The Product Support Group Supervisor oversee the entire PSG Team, ensuring the alignment of IT strategies with business goals. This role involves managing operations, infrastructure, and security, while leading the team to deliver efficient and secure technology solutions. It also involves meeting with internal and external stakeholders and maintains good relationship with both. Reviews and monitors Group revenue and costings.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance business performance.

IT Operations Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and efficient.
  • Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Look for and coach future leaders in his/her team.

Infrastructure Management

  • Ensure the stability and scalability of IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security, solutions, and network systems.

Security and Compliance

  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Project Management

  • Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate IT strategies and performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior IT management role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and align IT initiatives with business goals.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position
  • Availability for on-call support as needed
