Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: `

Under the direct supervision of the Technical Support Supervisor and/or Team Leader, the Senior Technical Support Engineer oversees providing accurate and reliable solutions to problems as required by the client. He/she shall provide a status or summary report of every activity performed.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Basic skills in computer operating systems: administration, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic skills in software and hardware installation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with any anti-virus solutions.
  • Basic skills in TCP/IP configuration and Local Area Network (LAN).

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any vocational course related to computer repair and troubleshooting.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work both independently and on a team.
  • Can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Can understand and execute written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in procedure and priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to comply with all physical health and safety rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Ability to maintain and enhance industry knowledge, staying abreast of current and emerging technologies.
  • Can be assigned anywhere depending on the project demands, willing to travel and relocated anytime.
  • Investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.
